Use this screen to add, change, delete, and view notes in an estimate. The information entered in the Estimate Notes field appear in the printed Estimate Report.
To add, edit, delete, or view estimate notes for an estimate, open the estimate and select the Estimate Properties button from the Estimate tab. The estimate notes you enter in Note field of the screen are printed on your estimate reports. You can delete or change any text that is displayed here. However, once the estimate is locked, you cannot change the note.
UPD estimates are never closed. Therefore, you can always edit the note for a UPD estimate. As you create supplements, the contents of earlier notes for the estimate and for other supplements are carried forward.
